2nd - Create a calendar using Google Calendars just for promos (or an extra calendar in Outlook or whatever Apple uses). This is great because you can add promo events, put the link to promo site in the description and set the time with a reminder, so you'll never miss a freebie that's announced ahead of time again (which are usually the best freebies). It is also nice to create a calendar just for promos, so when you're looking at you calendar to see your upcoming appointments, you may not want to have it cluttered with a bunch of promos. If that's the case, just click on the calendar title which should toogle the calendar from being visible to hiding it. -And again, if you have any questions about how to do this (on a computer or on your phone) please leave a comment and I can give more instructions &/or screenshots.
